What Is The Local Work About?

If you are a gospel preacher, then this newsletter is for you.

I know how discouraged you can get. We can easily fall into a rut in our preaching. Sometimes we may start focusing too much on our own opinions or traditions rather than proclaiming God’s Word.

The Local Work aims to help us as gospel preachers through the ups and downs of being the local preacher.

What you can expect from The Local Work

• An email every Monday with something to help you in your local work. Maybe it will be a piece of technology to help you save time. Maybe it will be thoughts from something I’ve been reading about preaching. It may involve the more practical, day-to-day side of local work.

• A community for discussion and feedback. I will post a question on Thursdays to encourage discussion/feedback/encouragement.

• Future resources that help with the practical side of local work. I have some projects in the works that include advice from older, more experienced gospel preachers. I think these resources will benefit us as preachers tremendously.
